Blast Buddies
Blast Buddies is a multiplayer shooter. Before each match you pick a main weapon, a pistol and an ability, then join free-for-all or team deathmatch rounds against players online, on your own or in a team with friends.
What happens on screen
A match starts with a loadout. You choose a primary weapon, a pistol and a special ability, and that choice decides how you play the round: close and fast, or from a distance.
Poki lists two modes, free-for-all and team deathmatch. In free-for-all everyone is on their own; in team deathmatch you play with a side. The environments can be destroyed, so cover you rely on at the start of a round may be gone by the end.
Outside the matches there is more to look at: you can create and share your own maps, check the leaderboard, unlock skins for your character and choose a server to join. None of that is needed to play a first round.

Worth trying in the first ten minutes

Try two or three loadouts in your first matches before settling on one. The primary weapon changes the whole pace of a round.

Reload with R when you are behind cover, not when an opponent is in front of you.

Use the slide (C) to get from one piece of cover to the next; it is faster than walking.

Remember that walls can break. If you are being hit through cover, it is time to move.

Keep Tab for the end of a fight. The leaderboard is easy to open by accident when you reach for Q or 1.

Players who enjoy online shooters with short matches and like changing their setup from round to round, especially with friends in the same team.
