Build League

Build League is a 3D building and driving game. You put together planes, cars and trains from parts, send them along courses full of obstacles, and spend the money from each run on better parts such as engines so the next attempt goes further.

What happens on screen

A run in Build League has two halves: building and launching. First you design a vehicle from parts. Poki’s description focuses on planes, and the game also lets you build cars and trains.

Then you start the run and see how far it gets. Courses are full of obstacles, and the maps differ, so a design that works on one may crash early on another.

Every run pays out money. You spend it in the shop on better parts, more efficient engines and fuel, and then try again. The loop is simple: build, run, upgrade, run further. You can play alone or online with friends, and there are quests and emotes as well.

Worth trying in the first ten minutes

  • Launch your first design even if it looks unfinished. A short run still pays for the first upgrade.
  • Put early money into the engine and fuel before cosmetic parts; distance is what earns the next upgrade.
  • Turn the camera with the mouse before starting so you can see the obstacles ahead.
  • Open quests with Q now and then. They give you something specific to aim for besides distance.

Good match for

Players who like tinkering with a design and watching it improve over many short attempts.

Weigh this first

  • Progress comes from repeating runs, which can feel slow at the start.
  • There are many keys to remember for menus on a computer.
  • Poki shows ads around its games.
